In a new interview, Govinda’s wife Sunita shed light on the struggles of their daughter Tina, who is eager to work in the industry but is being ignored.

Sunita Ahuja speaks against nepotism
In an interview with Hindi Rush, Govinda’s wife Sunita talked about their daughter Tina Ahuja. She highlighted the struggles of her daughter, who is eager to work in the industry but is being ignored.
Sunita said, “If it has worked well for her, then why wouldn’t she do it? You have got this opportunity to work. Nepotism band karo na. Give other people a chance to work too. You all work in the same group…that same group. Look outside also, people are sitting there too. Abhi also she is open to work. If you get work, you will do it, you are also very fond of doing work. (If she gets a good opportunity, then why wouldn’t she do it? Give her the opportunity to work. Stop nepotism. Give other people a chance to work too. Only a select group of star kids get work. Look outside, there are others too. If she gets work, she will do it.
Sunita feels that people who are part of ‘groups’ can succeed in Bollywood, and those who are not part of the circuit will be ignored. Emphasizing the importance of equal opportunity, he emphasized that many talented individuals beyond the privileged circle are eagerly waiting for opportunities to showcase their skills and make their mark in the industry.
In the interview, Sunita also stressed the need for a more inclusive approach where everyone can get a fair chance. “How many times will you see the same actor again,” he wondered.

Sunita married Govinda on 11 March 1987. Sunita is the sister-in-law of Govinda’s uncle Anand Singh. Anand was an assistant to director Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Govinda and Sunita have two children: a daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardhan. Tina’s first Hindi film was Second Hand Husband (2015). She has also been featured in music videos such as Milo Na Tum (2019) and Driving Me Crazy (2020).
