If you are an Android user then there is an important news for you. The Computer Emergency Response Team of the Government of India has issued a warning about ‘high’ security risks in Android. The team stressed that this gives hackers the ability to obtain sensitive information and allow them to fit arbitrary code on users’ phones.

It has been learned that these flaws are found in Android versions 11, 12, 13 and 14. This means that even if you use the latest Android version, you are not free from these risks.

CERT-In says that many flaws exist in the framework, system, Arm component and MediaTek component, UniSoc component, Qualcomm component and Qualcomm closed-source component.

How to keep the device safe?
