GAT-B 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated registration for Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2025. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website on exams.nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for GAT-B 2025 is March 3, 2025. The application improvement window will be open on March 5 and 6.
The examination will be conducted in computer based test (CBT) mode for a period of three hours. GAT-B 2025 will be held on 20 April from 10 am to 1 pm in the same shift. The examination will be held in computer based test (CBT) mode. The admit cards for this will be issued about a week in advance.
GAT-B is a national level entrance examination conducted for admission to PG courses in biotechnology and in the related fields supported by the Department of Biotechnology. Scores are accepted by about 63 colleges in the country for admission to PG courses such as MTECH Biotechnology/Allied Science, MSC Biotechnology and MSC Agricultural Biology. In addition, its score is also used for DBT -Junior Research Fellowship.
GAT-B 2025: Eligibility Criteria
– Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in subject related to biology, biotechnology, or a recognized university.
– The candidate will have got at least 50 percent marks in the degree of graduation.
– The age of the candidate should not be more than 28 years.
