Persepolis: The city of Persepolis is located 70 km northeast of Shiraz, a city in the Fars province of modern Iran. It fascinates the tourists with its beauty. Let us tell you that Persepolis, a Greek surname meaning ‘city of the Persians’, was known to the Persians as Parsa and was an important city of the ancient world, famous for its monumental art and architecture.
