New DelhiPakistani actor Fawad Khan is making a comeback to Bollywood after a full 9 years from the film ‘Abir Gulal’. The teaser of his upcoming film ‘Abir Gulal’ has been released today (1 April). Now the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has started opposing it and has threatened not to release the film in Maharashtra.

Threatened to release in Maharashtra
MNS spokesman Ameya Khopkar clearly stated that the party opposes the release of ‘Abir Gulal’. In a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Ameya said, ‘We came to know about the release of this film today when the producers announced it. But we are making it clear that we will not allow this film to be released in Maharashtra because it has a Pakistani actor. In any case, we will not allow such films to be released in the state. We are collecting more information about the film and will soon release a full statement.
Sanjay Nirupam made a statement
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam also gave his opinion on this dispute. He said, ‘India has widespread hatred towards Pakistan. When a Pakistani film is released, Indian viewers usually do not show interest in watching it. Even though some people see due to curiosity, Pakistani artists never achieved widespread success in India. He suggested that Pakistani artists should focus on their film industry rather than find an opportunity in India. The rest of the government should decide whether Pakistani films should be released in India or their artists should be allowed to work here.
