Bollywood’s Dhak-Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit Nene continues to mesmerize cinema lovers with her charm and mesmerizing talent. His fan base is spread far and wide. Among his fans is none other than actor Ankita Lokhande, who recently paid an emotional tribute to him on the sets of Dance Deewane. And this not only made Madhuri emotional but also made her dance. Ankita, best known for her role in Pavitra Rishta, recreated Madhuri’s iconic number, Kolhapur Se Aayi from the 1994 film Anjaam. He dedicated the act to Madhuri in the episode of the show. Teasing the moment, the makers of the show shared a promo of the episode on their Instagram handle.
In the video, Ankita is seen wearing a green dhoti saree with a bright yellow blouse, which she has draped in the traditional Marathi style. Her look had a more Maharashtrian touch with a charming nose ring, choker necklace and rani haar. His moves are energetic with courage and infectious passion. The video shows that his hand injury did not dampen the enthusiasm of the celebration, which was appreciated by everyone present on the set. After her performance, Ankita made a heartfelt confession, saying, “Happy Birthday to you madam! I love you! I have always been your fan and will always be your fan.” Madhuri became emotional at the tribute and joined Ankita on stage and presented a sweet performance for her fans. Madhuri’s fellow judge Sunil Shetty was impressed and said, “This is what we call performance”.
Ankita has always been a fan of Madhuri. Earlier, he had put up a post expressing his admiration for The Fame Game actor. In the post, she shared a video of herself grooving to the actor’s iconic song Ek Do Teen.
He wrote, “Thank you, Madhuri ma’am, for being a constant source of inspiration, not only as a phenomenal artist but also as an epitome of grace and authenticity. Here lies the timeless charm of Madhuri Dixit, which has settled in our hearts forever.”
On the work front, Ankita recently shared screen space with her husband Vicky Jain in a music video, La Pila De Liquor. She will be seen as Amrapali in a new web show of the same name.
