It seems that the star cast of Fateh has just gotten more interesting, as we have now exclusively learned that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has also joined the Sonu Sood-starrer, with the latter also lending support. According to the source, Shah has already shot most of his portions in the film, and “he will play a pivotal role in taking the film’s story forward”.
The film, which also marks Sood’s debut as a director, is based on real-life instances of cybercrime experienced by people during the Covid pandemic. “Naseer will play the role of a hacker. He is very excited about the film and the audience’s response to it, as it is extremely relevant and shows the true world of today. And that’s mostly what Naseeruddin prefers – real and relatable stories – when he has to choose scripts,” the source added, referring to Shah’s films such as A Wednesday (2008), Manthan (1976) and Kutte (2023).
Here is the poster of the film:
Though the teaser and poster of the action thriller have already been released, nothing has been revealed about Shah’s character yet. The source further added, “No one will know about Naseeruddin’s involvement in the film and his portrayal until the trailer comes out. He will have a good amount of screen time in the trailer too, which will be released closer to the film.”
We also contacted Sood for an official confirmation and he confirmed our story saying that he is quite excited that the veteran actor is also a part of his film. Sood told us, “Yes, Naseer sir is a part of Fateh. His character in the film is fantastic.”
