In the video, some bikes are being shown which have been fitted with LPG cylinders to run them. The cylinder has been installed at the back of the bike where people usually install the trunk. To install the cylinder, a box like cabinet has been made at the back of the bike, inside which a 2 kg LPG cylinder fits. The pipe coming out of this cylinder reaches the engine of the bike internally. It is shown in the video that the bike is running even after the petrol tank knob is closed, which means the bike can run on gas.

It has been told in the video that this gas-powered bike can give a mileage of up to 150 kilometers on a full tank. That means this bike can be run up to 150 kilometers on 2 kg LPG. At the same time, the cost of running a bike on gas is only 50-60 paise per kilometer, whereas a normal bike running on petrol costs 2-3 rupees per kilometer.

Can you also ride such a bike?
Let us tell you that under the Motor Vehicle Act, only modifications in vehicles certified by RTO are allowed. If you want to make any changes in the engine, petrol pump or ignition system of the bike, then before that you will have to take permission from the local RTO. The modification will be considered legal only after getting permission from the RTO. Let us tell you that under the Motor Vehicles Act, installation of CNG kit is allowed only in two-wheelers with old BS-3 engine.

Taking a step towards pollution-free options, Bajaj Auto has recently announced the launch of a CNG-powered motorcycle soon. The company had recently also released the design sketch of a CNG-powered bike. Bajaj’s upcoming CNG bike can be launched on Pulsar or Platina model. This bike is said to use dual-fuel technology which will be capable of running on both petrol and CNG fuel.
