New Delhi. Atishi Sarkar of Delhi is seen in full action. A big decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting of Delhi government. Atishi government has decided to extend the Electric Vehicle Policy till March 2025. There will be exemption in subsidy and road tax on electric vehicles (EV) purchased after January 1, 2024.
Atishi said in the press conference that in view of the poor air quality, the Delhi Cabinet has decided to extend the EV policy and start the pending subsidy and road tax exemption from January 1. He said, “Electric vehicles purchased on and after January 1, 2024, will get exemption in subsidy and road tax, which was stopped by BJP after Arvind Kejriwal was sent to jail.”
