This situation has raised concerns within the government, especially in the Home Ministry and the Department of Telecommunications. They are worried that these devices could be used for illegal activities. During a drug raid in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, officials found one of the Starlink satellite internet devices in their possession. Smugglers were using this device to help navigate.
