According to East Champaran District SP Swar Prabhat, the arrested accused Upendra Singh was posted as a block education officer in Kotwa.
A senior police officer said that an education department official in dry Bihar was arrested on Saturday after a complaint of a female teacher that he had misbehaved in an unbalanced situation.
According to East Champaran District SP Swar Prabhat, the arrested accused Upendra Singh was posted as a block education officer in Kotwa.
The teacher approached the police with the complaint that Singh had drunk a scene in Ahirulia village, into his school.

“Singh was taken to a local hospital for medical examination, which confirmed that he was under the influence of alcohol”, the SP said.
He was arrested for a blast of prohibition law, the SP said.
Since April 2016, the sale and consumption of liquor in the state has been completely banned when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ordered “Sharab-Bandi”.
