DRDO Internship Plan: If you are an engineering or science bachelor’s or postgraduate student then the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is a great institute to gain experience before kickstarting your professional journey. The purpose of DRDO’s Internship Scheme is to provide students training on hand in the field of defense technology.
The occasion is designed to provide engineering and general science students a unique opportunity to engage in state -of -the -art research and development (R&D) projects conducted in DRDO laboratories and establishments.
Internship is open to students who have graduated and postgraduate degrees in engineering and general science.
Major features of DRDO Internship Scheme
DRDO Internship provides students a chance to work directly in relevant fields for defense technology, giving students invaluable experience in R&D. Here are some of the main features of the plan:
Internship training in relevant areas: This training will cover discipline and projects for the defense sector, giving the intern opportunity to learn from the field experts.
Project Association: The intern will include direct research projects, contributing to the development of state -of -the -art technologies.
Lab/Establishment Correspondence: Students are encouraged to reach the relevant DRDO lab or installation for their fields, in coordination with their respective colleges or institutions.
Vacancy-dependent approval: Internship opportunities will be subject to availability and should be approved by the concerned laboratory director.
Connected in exposure to unnecessary areas: The intern will only have access to the undefinished areas of DRDO laboratories and installations to ensure that the national security standards are retained.
No employment responsibility: Participation in the scheme does not guarantee employment with DRDO on completion of training.
No liability for compensation: The DRDO will not be held responsible for any individual injury or accidents that may occur during the internship period.
Flexible Training Period: The duration of the internship can range from 4 weeks to 6 months, depending on the nature of the course, the laboratory director has the discretion to decide the period.
