1. Stay hydrated
If you are travelling, it is not necessary that you keep drinking a lot of water. Drink only that much which keeps your body hydrated. If you are travelling to a cold place, drink at least 5 glasses of water and if you are travelling to a hot place, drink 7-8 glasses of water.

2. It is important to keep going
It is not necessary that you go everywhere by car, bike or local vehicle. Do some walking as well. Practice subtle exercise/yoga and pranayama for at least 30 minutes in the morning. If possible, walk 5000 steps every day. If you have gone for a walk in the mountains, then do trekking. This will keep you physically active and will also exercise your body.

3. Drink lukewarm water
If you are traveling somewhere, drink a glass of warm water or green tea in the morning or before sleeping at night. This will prevent constipation. Bowel movement will happen easily. Start the morning with green tea and do not eat bread, things made of refined flour or deep fried foods.

4. Eat healthy food
During the journey, you must consume some laxative fruits like papaya, banana, local fruits. Have a light breakfast. Avoid eating refined flour in breakfast. You can have moderate or heavy food in lunch. Include roti, paratha, curry, salad etc. in it. If buttermilk is available, drink it in lunch.

5. Keep digestive pills with you
Mint tablets, Amla candy, Asafoetida, Hajmola tablets, sweet and sour digestive tablets, keep all these Ayurvedic things with you. Whenever you feel bloating, indigestion, gas, vomiting, nausea, eat them.

6. Carry cow ghee
In the morning or at night, heat 1 spoon of ghee and take it with water. It has amazing effects.

7. Ayurvedic herbs
Despite following all the above things, if you still suffer from constipation or bloating problem then you can keep with you Triphala powder or its tablets (for mild constipation) and Haritaki tablets or powder (for severe constipation).
