Obsessive-compulsive disorder, or OCD, is a condition where a person is compelled to perform repetitive tasks and is filled with unwanted thoughts. “Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a condition characterized by persistent obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are intrusive and unwanted thoughts, images or urges, including fear of contamination or germs, intrusive thoughts about harming oneself or others. “Giving thoughts may include persistent doubts about safety, a preoccupation with order, symmetry, or accuracy, and disturbing religious or moral thoughts,” wrote therapist Mathel Eshaghian.
