Fashion-Paris/Menswear-Dior (Pics, TV): Dior’s Kim Jones crosses embellishments for winter catwalk show

PARIS,—Dior men’s artistic director Kim Jones kept embellishments to a minimum for his winter 2025-2026 catwalk show, focusing on silhouettes that included long, cape-like coats and cropped leather jackets.
Held in a stark, indoor set at the École Militaire in central Paris, the show closed with a series of all-black looks for the LVMH-owned label. Models descended a white staircase with black hairdos and shiny patent leather shoes, some blindfolded.
Jones added softness to the lineup with a silky, ivory blouse that opened in the back, a tailored jacket in pale pink tones and a sprinkling of crystals on some garments. There were also cloth bows on the back of the coat and the tips of the shoes.
The model crossed the room before disappearing down a staircase. The front row applauded Jones as he entered the set for his bow, greeting Dior CEO Delphine Arnault with Hélène Mercier, wife of LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, on both cheeks.
Outside in the blustery weather, a crowd gathered to watch the guests, including actors Curry Wang, Joe Alwyn and Finnegan Oldfield, music producer DJ Snake and pianist Lang Lang.
Paris Men’s Fashion Week runs until January 26 and is followed by haute couture shows.
Globally, high-end labels are grappling with a rare slowdown in the appetite for fashion, with expectations pinned on the US market for growth this year.
