Koratala Siva’s Telugu film Devara Part 1 has taken a strong start at the box office not only in India but also globally. The action film directed by Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan recorded one of the biggest opening days in the history of Indian cinema and maintained the momentum throughout the remaining days of the opening weekend. Devara Part 1 Box Office Worldwide Collection
Devara Part 1 was released in theaters on 27 September and the makers of the film released a statement saying that it earned Earned Rs 172 crore worldwide on the first day. in its first weekend at the box office. According to comScore, the film grossed $32.93 million ( ₹ 275 crore) worldwide in its opening weekend, placing it second among all films globally. Deora trails only The Wild Robot, which made $44 million over the weekend, and ahead of big Hollywood tentpoles like Beetlejuice ($29 million) and Transformers One ($25 million). However, it is to be noted that for these films, it is not their opening weekend and hence, their earnings have gone down, while Devara got the benefit of a grand opening.
Great performance of Devara at domestic box office
