Delhi-NCR Pollution: air quality There is danger in the National Capital Region (NCR) for almost a month. However, on Sunday morning it improved from ‘severe’ to ‘very poor’ category.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the air quality index (AQI) at 8 am was recorded at 357, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category, while the 24-hour average AQI was 412 at 4 pm on Saturday.
However, Anand Vihar remained in the ‘severe’ category with an AQI of 404.
According to the last bulletin of Central Pollution Control Boardair quality Improvement was also seen in the entire NCR region.
So, with the improvement in air quality levels, schools will reopen on November 25 (Monday).
Delhi schools
Schools in Delhi are expected to remain closed as no notice has been issued yet by the Delhi government regarding their reopening.At the time of publication of this story,

Noida schools
In Gautam Buddh Nagar, Noida and Greater Noida, suspension of physical classes in all schools will continue till November 25.
Last week, physical classes were suspended by the district administration in view of ‘severe’ air quality.
“In view of the directions given by the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar regarding closure of physical classes from Pre-School to Class 12 due to the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi-NCR reaching the severe category on 18th November ( With 450 AQI), all schools in district Gautam Buddh Nagar are directed to follow the above order till November 25,” said an order issued by District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Dharamveer Singh on Saturday. It was said.
Ghaziabad schools
Due to falling pollution levels in Ghaziabad, physical classes will remain suspended till further notice.
Schools in Faridabad, Gurgaon
Since the Haryana government has not issued any further notice regarding the suspension of physical classes, many schools in Faridabad and Gurgaon have decided to reopen from November 25, 2024.
As per the final notice, schools were ordered to remain closed till November 23, 2024.
Many parents in both these cities have also received notices from their children’s respective schools to resume physical classes from tomorrow.
