CSIR UGC NET December 2024: NTA has issued new admit cards for the February 28 examination which was canceled due to technical mess.
CHR-CUCC NET 2024: The combined CSIR-ign net December 2024 exam, which is originally scheduled for 28 February 2025 (SHIFT-1), was canceled due to a technical mess in Town University, Guwahati, Assam. It affects the candidates appearing for the subjects of Earth Science and Mathematical Sciences.
In an official update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re -determination of the affected examinations. The new exam date for candidates in these subjects in Assam Down Town University is as follows:
Earth Science: March 2, 2025 (Shift -1, 09:00 to 12:00 pm)
Mathematical Science: March 2, 2025 (Shift-1, 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
The NTA has also issued new admit cards for the affected candidates on the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates can download the CSIR-UGC NET 2024 admit card after the simple stages given below.
It is important to note that the examination centers of the candidates have also been changed. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully check their new admit cards and reach the updated examination center on the specified date and time.

step 1: Official website – go to CSIRNET.NTA.AC.IN.
step 2: On the home page, click on the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2024 Admit Card Link
step 3: On the newly opened page, enter your application number, date of birth and safety pin
step 4: Click on the ‘Submit’ button and your CSIR NET will appear on December 2024 screen
Step 5: Download the admit card and take a printout for the exam day

CSIR UGC NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) determines eligibility for grants and lecturership. It will be conducted online as a computer-based test (CBT) in English or Hindi. The three -hour examination is divided into three sections: Part A, Part B, and Part C, and it contains 200 marks. Part -A focuses on general qualification, while Parts B and C have focusing on the chosen subject of the candidate. All classes include objective-type, multiple choice questions. According to the MarkIGNG scheme, 25 percent of the allotted marks for each wrong answer is deducted.
