The National Testing Agency, NTA, will close the window to raise objections on the provisional answer key of Joint CSIR UGC NET 2024 on Sunday, August 11. Candidates who wish to challenge the provisional answer key can do so by visiting the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Candidates please note that the last date for filing objections is 11:50 pm.
In addition, they will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee To challenge the answer key, one will have to pay Rs 200. The NTA had said that the challenges made by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts, and if the challenge of a candidate is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised and applied to the response of all candidates accordingly.
NTA had earlier informed that the Joint CSIR UGC NET result 2024 will be prepared and declared based on the revised final answer key.
It is noteworthy that NTA had released the provisional answer key on its official website on August 9. To download the answer key, candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth on the login page.
The CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted on July 25, 26, and 27, 2024. The exam on July 25 and 26 was conducted in two shifts- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.

According to the NTA, the exam was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 2,25,335 candidates at 348 centres located in 187 cities across the country.
The question paper had three parts, all of which were objective type, multiple choice questions. There was no break between the question papers.
The Joint CSIR UGC NET exam is conducted in July 2024 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor/Ph.D.
