Change your habit of having breakfast late at night. Try these healthy snacks instead.

There’s a point where everyone is guilty of rushing to the kitchen to eat their comfort food, whether it’s ramen or eating chips. These late night habits may seem comfortable but they are not at all safe for your health. Late night snacks often include processed foods like chips and noodles which contain high fat, sodium and preservatives, which ultimately lead to health problems.

So what is the solution? Although it is advised not to eat till late night after dinner, many people often stay up late for studies or work. Cravings are common. The solution is to be mindful of what is being eaten.

Why is a healthy breakfast important?

All the snacks recommended by nutritionists are rich in protein, fiber and other essential nutrients like magnesium. These snacks are also health-friendly, low in sodium, sugar and calories. Some may require a little more preparation time, but come on, who doesn’t get some cooking inspiration at night? At least this time, it’s for a good cause, sticking to your fitness goals.

One might also wonder what a simple bowl of late-night noodles or a packet of chips will do? You can reason with this justification, but fall victim to the same excuse the next day. Gradually this will become a habit and before you know it, you are far away from your fitness goals, heading towards serious health concerns. These seemingly harmless habits can cause big problems.
