The Congress on Sunday announced the names of candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the Legislative Council of Telangana.
Ink said, “Congress President, Mallikrajun Kharge has approved the proposal as Congress candidates for the candidature of the following persons, which is asked to compete with the Legislative Council of Telangana to contest the upcoming biennial elections.”
The party has made Adanki Dayakar, Kathwath Shankar Naik and Vijayashanti.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced biennial elections to fill each vacancies in the legislative councils of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Meanwhile, Nagendra Rao (Naga Babu), the elder brother of the party chief and the elder brother of Andhra Pradesh Vice President Pawan Kalyan, Nagendra Rao (Naga Babu) filed his nomination for the upcoming MLC elections on Friday.
The Election Commission recently notified biennial elections for the seats of five Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, which was selected by the MLA on 20 March with voting.
