Udaipur. The tenth mass wedding ceremony was held grandly under the joint aegis of Brahmin Samaj in Udaipur city. On this special occasion, 10 couples tied in matrimonial bonds. The special thing about the ceremony is that the newly married couples were gifted as a plot, two-wheeler, three-wheeler and home essential items. The purpose of this initiative is to provide the beginning of a stable and pleasant life to the newcomers.

Resolve to fulfill life with life, filled affidavits
Vishnu Shankar Paliwal, Divisional Chairman of Sarva Samaj Samiti informed that this is the tenth mass marriage of the committee. Before marriage, an affidavit was filled from all couples, in which he encouraged each other’s business to support each other throughout his life. Pledged to do plantation for not doing alcohol, and for environmental protection. It shows the awareness of the environment, but also lays a clean and green future foundation for the coming generations.

Unique initiative to secure future
Committee member Hemant Paliwal said that for the purpose of securing the future of the newly married couples, he has been allotted a 200 square feet plot in Sakaroda Gram Panchayat, 15 km from Udaipur city. Apart from this, two-wheelers and three-wheelers were also provided for business and employment.

Special arrangement of household goods
To simplify the beginning of the new life of the newcomers, beds, cupboards, dressing tables, essential items of kitchen like gas stove, utensils etc. were also provided. This initiative of the committee was appreciated by the present socialists and described it as an inspirational step. This mass marriage is not only a symbol of social unity, but is also being seen as an important initiative towards empowering the newcomers economically.
