A tweet about US Governor Tim Walz being younger than Hollywood actors Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt has received thousands of retweets and comments on Twitter. Tim, who is the running mate of presidential candidate Kamala Harris in this election, is being trolled for his looks by comparing him to Tom or Brad. The viral tweet mentions that Tim is 60 years old while Brad and Tom are older than him, being 62 and 61 years old respectively. However, this doesn’t make the actors ideal men or any better than Tim, as comedian Jay Jourdan pointed out. When he came across the tweet, Jay commented on Twitter, “The man in the middle can still hug his kids,” pointing out an area of life when Tim has clearly won.
Twitter users were shocked by his brutal statement, but agreed that it was the honest truth. Both Brad and Tom have troubled relationships with their children.
Many people on Twitter reacted to the tweet and reposted the court filings that revealed Brad’s alleged abuse of his children and wife Angelina. “It’s crazy when not one but all six of your kids don’t live with you,” one person wrote. Another person tweeted, “I completely understand why his daughter Shiloh filed to remove Brad Pitts last name on her 18th birthday. He put her through a lot.”
Many even called Tim a great guy. “Can fix his neighbors car as well as his own, can use a tractor, can teach a class, can run a high school lunchroom, can wear flannel, can mend flannel shirts, has no personal makeup artist, does his own hair, loves his family, has never been divorced and has no parenting plan, loves his community and country, coaches, wears a US military uniform, is moral and ethical and…” one tweet read. “But also on the subject of physical appearance, Tim Walz doesn’t dye his hair and that does age him, but he doesn’t have as many wrinkles on his face as the other two. You can clearly see he is significantly older than he was in his heyday,” another wrote.
Brad’s daughters clear his name
All six of Brad’s children live with him after his separation from Angelina Jolie in 2016. Recently, his children Shiloh and Vivienne also dropped his last name from their names. A Los Angeles court has approved the petition of the former couple’s third eldest child to legally change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. She first filed a petition for an official announcement of the name change on May 27, the day she turned 18.
Notably, his daughter Vivienne was listed as “Vivienne Jolie” in a program for The Outsiders on Broadway.
In a 2022 court filing, Angelina alleged that Brad grabbed her by the head and shook her on a 2016 flight, then choked one of their children and attacked the other when he tried to defend her.
Tom and Suri are out of touch
Tom’s 18-year-old daughter Suri dropped his last name after entering college. She is enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University. Suri is the daughter of Tom and his ex-wife and actor Katie Holmes. They divorced in 2012 after being married for six years.
However, Suri is not particularly close to her father. They have not been seen together in over a decade. Now that she is in college, Suri has decided to drop the ‘Cruz’ from her name in favor of her mother’s middle name ‘Noel.’ It is believed that Tom was asked to sever all ties with Katie and Suri by the Church of Scientology, which he is a part of.
