The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday released the datesheet of CBSE 10th and 12th board exam 2025. Students can download the timetable from the official website of CBSE i.e. cbse.gov.in.
As per the date sheet, CBSE Class 10th and 12th board exams will start from February 15 and end on March 18. The detailed datesheet has been released on the official CBSE website and the exams will start at 10:30 am on all days.
CBSE Class 10th, 12th Board 2025 Date
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced the schedule of class X and XII board examinations for the academic year 2025, with the examinations starting from February 15, 2025.
CBSE in a statement said, “CBSE has prepared the date sheet for the examinations scheduled from 15.02.2025. While preparing the date sheet… normally between two subjects offered by a student in both the classes Sufficient margin is given.”
As per the schedule, the CBSE Secondary School Exam 2025 examinations will start from February 15 and will continue till March 18, 2025. The Science exam is scheduled for February 20, 2025, which will run from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Social Science (087) exam will be conducted on February 25, 2025.
According to the schedule, the Mathematics exam is to be held on March 10 and the Hindi exam to be held on February 28.

For CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination 2025, the examinations will also start on February 15, 2025 and end on April 4, 2025. The Physics exam will be conducted on February 21, 2025, while the exam will be conducted for Mass Media Studies. On 7 March 2025.
The Chemistry exam is scheduled to be held on February 27, 2025, and the Business Studies exam is scheduled to be held on February 22.
Apart from this, Geography exam will be conducted on 24th February.
Highlighting the meticulous preparation, CBSE said, “The date sheet has been prepared by postponing more than 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two examinations opted by a student fall on the same date.”
CBSE said for the first time that the datesheet has been released about 86 days before the commencement of the examinations. CBSE stressed, “The release this year is 23 days earlier than in 2024. This has been possible due to timely submission of LOC by schools.”
The board underlined the benefits of early release, saying, “Students can start preparing earlier, which will help them overcome exam stress and perform better. Families and teachers can enjoy the summer without disrupting non-board classes. You can plan your schedule including holidays and assessment duties.” Study. Schools, especially those serving as examination centres, will have ample time to plan their academic activities accordingly.”
