Consistency, hard work and perseverance are the mantras of success this year for at least three ISC toppers from Lucknow, who were also national toppers two years ago when they cleared the Class 10 ICSE exam.
Kanishka Mittal, who was the national ICSE topper in 2022 by scoring 99.8% marks, brought glory to the state capital in the ISC exam this year. She scored 399 out of 400 (99.75%) with 100 each in History, Psychology and Legal Studies and 99 in English. He is set to pursue BA-LLB from National Law University, Delhi. Kanishka, a student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road branch, got 499 marks out of 500 in class 10th.
Across India, 30 students scored 399 out of 400 in the Class 12 exam.

Speaking to HT, she said, “Although I was a national topper in Class 10, this time I was not sure whether I would be able to score 99.75% because I was also preparing for law exams.”
“Scoring above 99% twice is a great feeling,” said Mittal, who loves playing badminton and is an avid reader.
His success mantra was to set daily, weekly and monthly targets to complete revision.
“I used to study for 3-4 hours every day and ensure that my goals were achieved. I never took any coaching and always depended on books and teachers’ advice. I also stayed away from social media,” said Mittal, who secured All India Rank 18 in the All India Law Entrance Exam.
Like Kanishka, Archita Singh also scored 399 out of 400 in ISC, securing 99.75%. She was the joint second topper in ICSE 2022 by scoring 498 marks out of 500 with 99.60%. “Now, I want to prepare for civil services exams and become an IAS officer,” said the CMS student. Archita’s father Arun Singh is a scientist in remote sensing and her mother Smita Singh is a teacher in a government school.
Another student from Lucknow, Saria Khan, also scored 99.75% by scoring 399 marks out of 400. She is a student of CMS, Mahanagar Campus and wants to become a doctor. “She is my only daughter and she has made me proud again as she was the second national topper in ICSE as well.
Saria’s father Raees Ahmed, a civil court lawyer, said, “My son is an engineer, I am a lawyer and now my daughter will make me proud again by becoming a doctor.”
It was also a big moment for Shreya Dwivedi, a student of Seth MR Jaipuria School, who scored 99.25% marks in the ISC exam and became the school topper. She scored 100 each in History, Political Science and English, 97 in Economics and 96 in Mathematics.
She wants to pursue BA (Economics Hons) from LSR or SRCC depending on her rank in CUET UG exams. His father Amit Dwivedi is a lawyer in the High Court and mother Anita Dwivedi is a housewife. He is fond of writing and art.

Sudiksha Singh of La Martiniere Girls College scored 99.25% (397 out of 400) by scoring 100 each in History, Psychology and Political Science and 97 marks in English. While preparing for BA (Hons) in Political Science and Psychology, she is pursuing her UPSC dream.
Her mother Preeti Singh is a teacher at Study School and her elder sister Khushi Singh is a medical student. Sudiksha’s success mantra includes proper sleep, morning revision and sports activities. A House Captain in LMGC, she candidly admitted that she is averse to social media.
Priyamvada Singh, a student of Seth MR Jaipuria School, Gomti Nagar, scored 397 (99.25%) marks out of 400. She has scored 100 in Political Science and 99 in History, Geography and English and wants to pursue BA (Hons) in Political Science from LSR, Hindu College or Miranda House depending on CUET UG ranking.
His aim is to pass the Civil Services Examination. Leo’s success mantra is – be consistent in your educational journey and stay immersed in love. “I love playing tennis and badminton and have developed leadership skills as the head girl of the school,” said Singh, who achieved AIR 3 in ICSE with 99.4%.
His father Shashi Shekhar Singh is Additional SP in Sant Kabir Nagar and his mother Dr. Benu Singh runs a business.
Abhinav Raghuvanshi, student of CMS, Gomti Nagar-1, scored 99.25% marks in Humanities. He had scored 97.8% marks in the ICSE Class 10 examination. “Now I would like to pursue a career in legal studies,” he said.
Kanpur girl Jhanvi Singh got 99.75% marks in ISC. A student of Methodist High School, her father Naveen Singh is a lawyer and her mother Pallavi is a housewife. She is preparing for the engineering entrance exam.
