Dehradun: Like every year, this year too, the Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand will start from May 10. For this, devotees are continuously registering online. If you also want to visit the four Dhams of Uttarakhand, then you should also register quickly. Because, the registrations are full till May. So far 16 lakh devotees have registered online for the Char Dham Yatra in the state. To ensure that people do not face any problem during the Char Dham Yatra and the crowd of devotees can be controlled, the number of daily registrations has been fixed by the Uttarakhand Tourism Department. Under this, the number of maximum registrations of devotees per day has been fixed at 18 thousand for Kedarnath Yatra, 20 thousand for Badrinath, 11 thousand for Gangotri, while 9 thousand for Yamunotri Dham.
According to the information received, the Char Dham Yatra is starting in the state from May 10. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees for its registration. So far 16 lakh devotees have registered online for Chardham, in which registrations are full till 31 May 2024. If you want to register now, then now the date of June month will be available.
Booking of helicopter service is also in full swing
With time, now people want to visit Char Dham through heli service. Along with by road, devotees are also very enthusiastic about visiting Char Dham by air. How much people are liking heli service for Char Dham Yatra in the state can be gauged from the record breaking booking of heli service. There is a lot of rush for Kedarnath heli service. In this, booking has been full for both the months of May and June. Not only this, 85 percent of heli service tickets have been booked for the month of September and 35 percent for October.
Meanwhile, the Char Dham Tirtha Purohit Mahapanchayat is demanding from the state government to give exemption in registration to the local people and to do offline registration in Rishikesh-Haridwar.
