What treatment is recommended for cervical cancer during pregnancy?

Cervical cancer should be staged well so that the expected woman can be offered the most appropriate scheme. Cervical cancer is staged clinical and also uses MRI. The interpretation of MRI during pregnancy can be difficult due to normal changes during pregnancy. The doctor said that for the initial stage cervical cancer which is localized to the cervical tissue, a cone biopsy (removing a part of the cervix) can be tissue.
When should chemotherapy should be considered?
“Chemotherapy may be considered after the first trimester of pregnancy. After 22 weeks of pregnancy, the lymph node removal and testing are not recommended as the uterus is now too large and may have a risk for pregnancy. Here, Navjwant chemotherapy is recommended.
