Emmanuelle Miller has claimed that the worst experiences in her career as a longtime celebrity hairstylist were with A-listers like Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lopez and Blake Lively. During her appearance on this week’s episode of the What It Was Like podcast, she alleged that the Princess Diaries star treated her like a “servant.”

“I did a movie with Anne Hathaway and that was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had,” Miller said, reports Page Six. “Anne never accepted me as a person. For four-and-a-half months they treated me like a servant,” she said, adding that despite her daughter being a stand-in in the film, the 41-year-old actress never inquired about Miller’s family.
Recalling his experience while working with Hathaway, Miller said, “I was [Anne’s] Hair in person, just one on one, I was just doing her hair.” “She never said, ‘Your daughter.’ Do you have any other kids?’ or ‘How long have you been married?’ There was never any personal conversation,” he said.
Miller noted that over the years, he has worked with many A-listers such as Cate Blanchett, Johnny Depp and Tom Hanks, who, unlike Hathaway, remained on friendly terms with him. However, the Devil Wears Prada actress has denied Miller’s allegations.
“It is unfortunate to hear that Manny’s memories of our time together were very different from mine. “I continue to wish her nothing but the best,” she said in a statement, according to the outlet. Comparing her “worst experience” with Hathaway to her interaction with Lopez, Miller spoke with the On the Floor hitmaker. Recalled a strange skirmish.
“All [of a] All of a sudden, we’re told the next guest is coming on, she’s Jennifer Lopez,” Miller said of an unnamed talk show where the 55-year-old made an appearance. He claimed he was asked to “vacate the room” and “suddenly there was a stampede.”
“I’ve been doing a lot of talk shows in green rooms with a lot of actors, and I never got that experience,” he added, adding that upon leaving he realized he had given up on his job. Overcoat in the room. As Miller turned back to get it, the This Is Me singer entered.
“So I went back into the room to get my overcoat that was hanging on a chair, and when I turned, Jennifer walked into the room,” the hair stylist said, adding that she greeted him and noted the fact. Mentioned that the pair had been together before. They worked together on the set of their 2005 film Monster in Law.
However, Miller alleged that Lopez did not say a word to him, implying that his behavior was cold. “Jennifer just looked at me, just stared at me, and then looked at her bodyguards like [to say] You were told to pick up this trash and clean the room. Why was this room not cleaned?” He remembered.
Sharing another of her disturbing experiences, Miller revealed that while working with Lively for the 2011 film Hick, she was invited to lunch with other crew members. But, when he arrived, lunch was not being served, and he had an awkward encounter with the It End’s With Us star.
When the podcast host asked if it was possible that Lively was just feeling “concerned” or “didn’t really know anyone,” Miller said, “It’s very kind of you to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I did not do that.” Watch him talk to anyone.”
