CBSE on Monday said more than 11,000 Class 10 students scored full 100 marks in mathematics, while Class 12 painting topped the subject category with the highest number of students getting full marks. CBSE Board Exam Result Live Updates
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 and 12 board exam results were declared on Monday.
In Class 10, a total of 11,253 students scored full marks in “Mathematics Standard”, followed by Sanskrit and Artificial Intelligence as 6,700 and 6,269 candidates scored full 100 marks respectively.

Similarly, in Class 12, the highest number of full marks scorers was 10,402 in painting, followed by 2,152 in chemistry and 2,134 in psychology.
Girls outperformed boys in the board exams, while the pass percentage and the number of students scoring above 90 and 95 per cent marks saw a marginal increase compared to last year.

The pass percentage in class 10th was 93.60, which is 0.48 percentage points higher than last year. The pass percentage in Class 12 examination stood at 87.98 with a marginal increase of 0.65 percentage points compared to last year.
CBSE officials attributed the increase in the passing percentage to the increase in the number of aptitude-based questions in the exam this year.
