CBSE Result 2024: The Class 10 and 12 results will be declared on the same day, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) said in an official statement on its website. Another important revelation was that the results will be released after May 20. The board has not yet confirmed the exact date and time of class 10 and 12 results.
This year CBSE conducted these examinations between February to April. Class 10 board exams started on 15 February and ended on 13 March. The board conducted the Class 12 exams between February 15 and April 2. These examinations were conducted in single shifts of two to three hours depending on the subject. Regarding the duration of the exam the timing of the exam was between 10:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm.

“No overall division/distinction/aggregate will be given as per sub-section 40.1 (iii) of Chapter-7 of the Examination Bye-Laws,” the CBSE official statement said. Thus, no overall division for Class 10 will be given. , Distinction or aggregate will not be given. And as per the examination bye-laws, 12 students will be released this year.

Steps to check CBSE result online
- Visit the official website of CBSE cbseresults.nic.in or results.cbse.nic.in
- Click on the link of CBSE Board Result 2024 on the home page.
- Log in using the required credentials-roll number or registration number.
- Click on submit.
- CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 results will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the result and take printout for future reference.
Apart from this, DigiLocker application and website (digilocker.gov.in) also provides the facility to access CBSE scores. Results can also be obtained using the SMS facility.
The essential credentials required to check class 12 results include school roll number, admit card ID and board exam roll number.

Students who are not satisfied with their results have the option to apply for marks verification at cbseresults.nic.in. According to the official notice, this can be done on the fourth to eighth day of the declaration of results by the CBSE Board. As a result, the period to apply for marks verification will be five days.
