The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct the Class 12 Economics exam today, March 18. The exam will start at 10:30 am and end at 1:30 pm during the three-hour duration. ,

Here is the CBSE Class 12 Economics question paper pattern as per SQP
- The maximum allotted marks for the CBSE Class 12 Economics exam is 80 which has to be handed in three hours.

- The question paper consists of two sections: Macro Economics and Indian Economic Development.
- As per the sample paper of Class 12 Economics, the final question paper will have 20 multiple choice questions of one mark each.

- There will be four short answer questions where each question will carry three marks and has to be answered within 60-80 words.
- There will be six short answer questions of four marks each, which will have to be answered in 80 to 100 words.
- As per the sample question paper, there will be four long answer questions, each worth six marks, which should be answered within 100-150 words.

Here are some important points for the exam day:
- Candidates must report to the examination center at the scheduled time in their school uniform and also bring their school ID card along with their admit card on all examination days.
- Students should read the question paper once thoroughly before attempting the questions. Look for any special instructions given on the paper or answer sheet or misprints and check the total number of questions in all the sections.

- Students should ensure that the name and code of the paper is correct and all pages are printed correctly. Any type of error should be reported immediately.
- After answering all the questions students should re-check and revise all the answers. Before handing over the answer sheets to the invigilator, students must arrange the continuation booklets properly and tie them to the main booklet.
This year more than 39 lakh students are appearing in the CBSE Board Class 10 and 12 final exams. Furthermore, Class 10 exams ended on March 13, while Class 12 exams will end by April 2.
