CBSE class 12th english exam 2025 today: The CBSE Class 12 English Board Exam will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm today. To read the question paper, students will get additional 15 minutes before the exam. Students will have to take their CBSE 12th Admit Card 2025 and School ID to the examination center. They should avoid bringing any electronic gadget or prohibited items into the examination hall to prevent disqualification. According to CBSE Dress Code 2025, students will have to wear their school uniforms during the exam.
CBSE Class 12 English Paper 2025 Marking Scheme
CBSE Class 12 English Question Paper 2025 will divide 13 questions into three sections – Section A (reading skills), section B (creative writing skills), and section C (literature). All questions are mandatory, but Section B and C will have internal options. The exam will take a total of 80 marks.
In section A, Question 1 will take 12 points, and Question 2 will be of 10 marks, giving a total of 22 marks.
In Section B, Question 3 and Question 4 will take 4 marks in each, while Question 5 and Question 6 each will have 5 marks. This section will take a total of 18 points.
In Section C, Question 7 will take 6 marks, Question 8 will be of 4 marks, and Question 9 will take 6 marks. Question 10 will have the highest load of 10 digits, while Question 11, 12, and 13 will take 4, 5 and 5 marks respectively. There are a total of 40 marks for this section.
