The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Biology exam for class XII on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. The exam was conducted from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm across the country.
The students of Ludhiana who came for the examination found the Biology paper quite balanced. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate.
Gaganpreet Kaur, head of the biology department at Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS), said the exam was well balanced and the MCQs were a little difficult. He said that the longer questions were based on applied science.
Armaan Yasmin Kaur, who expects to score more than 60 marks in the exam, commented, “The paper was difficult as the MCQs had similar options. The subjective part of the exam was easy for those who have a good understanding of the concepts.”
Preneet Kaur, another student, said that the claims and arguments part of the paper was the most tricky and the rest of the questions were straightforward. “Most of the subjective part was from development and biotech and the molecular part was a little complicated,” he said.
Mannat Aulakh, who appeared for her exam today, said that the difficulty level of the exam has definitely increased and the questions in the exam were tricky.
