Buses will increase on Holi! UP Roadways has many routes including Delhi-Lucknow-Kanpur

In view of the increasing crowd on Holi, Bareilly Transport Corporation has run 604 buses and 134 contracted buses. Driver-operators will be canceled and investigated with Breath Analyzer.

Bareilly: On the occasion of Holi, the number of passengers traveling in buses and trains increases every year, due to which many times the passengers have to face many problems. In view of this, this time the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation has given the gift of Holi to the passengers. In view of the increasing crowd, the corporation has increased the number of buses, as well as the operators’ holidays have been canceled, so that the passengers do not have to face any inconvenience.
On the instructions of the Managing Director, the holidays of all the drivers and operators have been canceled. Also, 604 buses and 134 contracted buses will be run from Bareilly to Delhi, Lucknow and other cities.

According to roadways officials, buses of Rohilkhand and Bareilly depots of Bareilly region will operate on all major routes. Especially on the routes of Delhi, Lucknow and Agra, buses have been increased. 130 additional buses will be run on these routes. Apart from this, 5 to 10 additional buses have been increased on other routes including Kanpur, Lucknow and Prayagraj, so that the passengers do not face any problem.

Employees will be investigated by breath analyzer
During a long journey, drivers consume alcohol or alcohol many times, due to which the safety of passengers can be endangered. To stop this, RM Deepak Chaudhary said that all drivers will be investigated with breed analyzer. If a driver is found to be drunk, strict action will be taken against him.

Two drivers will be in every bus on long route
Apart from cancellation of employees’ holidays, their convenience has also been taken care of. The Transport Corporation has made it necessary to deploy two drivers in long distance buses. Every driver will have to driving for half the way. If a driver has a problem, he will not run the bus. Apart from this, dress code has also been made mandatory for conductors and both drivers.

Duty will be done in three shifts, control room will be made
In view of the increasing number of buses, a control room has been set up at the old bus station. Here the employees will have to do duty in three shifts, in which every shift will be of 8 hours. These employees will monitor the number of buses and the number of passengers. The duty of some employees has also been installed at the satellite bus station, because the number of passengers is more than here.
With this system, passengers will not only get a comfortable journey, but they will not have to face any kind of trouble.
