Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched its National Wi-Fi Roaming Service, with the help of which BSNL FTTH (Fibre-to-the-Home) users will be able to connect to BSNL’s network anywhere across India. Till now, BSNL’s FTTH users could access the internet only within the range of their router.
National Wi-Fi Roaming Service was introduced with the new logo of BSNL and 6 other new initiatives including spam protection measures, fibre-based intranet TV service, Any Time SIM (ATM) kiosk and direct-to-device satellite connectivity service. Are included. According to BSNL, the aim of its National Wi-Fi Roaming service is to reduce the data expenses of its existing FTTH consumers.
