The Bihar School Examination Board will start the application process from Friday, April 4, 2025 for secondary special and compartment exams 2025 along with checking of BSEB class 10. Applications for the same can be presented on official websites on matric.bsebscrutiny.com, bsebonline.com, secondary.Bharboardonine.com or biharbornline.com.
All applications need to be submitted by April 12, 2025.

For investigation
Students who are unhappy with their marks obtained in one or more subjects can apply for online examination at Matric .bscrutiny.com from April 4 to April 12, 2025.
To apply for investigation, a fixed fee 120 will have to pay per subject per subject.
How to apply for investigation
- Go to the official website, matric.bsebscrutiny.com.
- Click titled “Application for Scrutiny (Annual Secondary Examination 2025)”
- Enter the roll code, roll number and date of birth, and register by making a password.
- Login using roll code, roll number and password.
- On the next page, the application for investigation will be displayed.
- Mark ( ) In the check box in front of the subject/themes, in which the online investigation of the answer book is required to be implemented.
- Pay the fee through debit card/credit card/net banking.
- Download the confirmation page and keep the printout of the same for reference.
The investigation will be based on the following points:
- If the pages inside the answer book are not marked on the cover page, it will be improved.
- If there is an error in the sum of the given marks, it will be corrected.
- As a result of investigation, scars may increase, decrease or remain the same.
Meanwhile, if a student who fails to maximum two subjects in the annual secondary examination, 2025, as well as compartment applies for examinations and later passes the examination on the basis of investigation, only the result of board examinations will be considered valid and not of compartment examinations.

According to the board, candidates appearing for special and compartment examinations will require to submit the prescribed online examination fee and submit applications on the websites mentioned above through school heads.
“School major will download the examination application form and make available to the eligible students appearing in the exam. After receiving the duly filled examination application form, ensure uploading the application within the prescribed period and with the prescribed fee on the said websites of the committee.”

Apart from this, candidates appearing for home science, dance, music and fine arts have to pay a practical examination fee. 30.
An online fee of 30 will be placed by the educational institution, which will be used by the school head to fill the online application of students and download the dummy/original admit card, BSEB said.

This year, the results recorded an overall pass percentage of 82.11 percent.

Bihar Board Matriculation Examination was conducted in various examination centers across the state from 17 February to 25 February 2025. The exam was conducted in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. However, the length of some papers was less than three hours.
