According to media reports, Bihar Board will give cash prizes to the toppers of all streams – Science, Commerce and Arts. Stream toppers will be given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, 75 thousand more to second toppers 50 thousand to those in third rank.

For this, Bihar Board will take information like bank account and Aadhaar number from the students at the time of registration itself.

Bihar Board results will be declared soon. After the declaration the board will provide a window where students can apply for re-checking of their answer sheets. Students will have to pay fee per paper for re-checking/revaluation. All these details will be available from the board immediately after the result is declared.

In 2023, 13,04,586 students appeared for the intermediate examination, out of which 10,91,948 candidates passed. The overall passing percentage was 83.7 percent.

The pass rate of Bihar Board 12th Commerce students was the highest at 93.95 percent, followed by Science (83.93 percent) and Arts (82.74 percent). It should also be noted that the Arts stream had the highest number of candidates – 6,68,526 – while the Commerce stream had only 49,155 candidates appear for the exam. 5,86,532 Science candidates appeared for the exam.
