Reactions to BLACKPINK Jennie’s Slow Motion Collab:

As always, Blackpink members just have to move an inch, and they start trending on social media trends, well deserved. So, fans not liking their content is completely out of the question. While initial reactions were filled with extremely loving reviews for the song, Jennie’s final information about how long it took to come out despite having already worked on the song shocked fans.

As soon as the post hit the social media platform, it didn’t take long for fans to take up arms against Jennie’s former record label, YG Entertainment. “3 years ago? I think YG is your worst enemy, how can they not let a song this good???” A response came immediately. Another fan found it difficult to understand that the track was composed three years ago. Jumping on the YG hate bandwagon, one Instagram user commented: “1080th reason I’m saying YG actually helped her!!”

Despite their love for the Blackpink members, fans of the group have long been against YG Entertainment’s handling of the music program. In 2023, when news of the quartet’s separation from YG to pursue their respective solo projects was revealed, fans could not hold back or suppress their reactions, calling it “the best possible outcome.”

Jennie’s Slow Motion is a dreamy love song that will leave fans with tears in their eyes. She notably shared her public appearance with Matt Champion at Coachella 2023, when their K-pop group headlined the concert. However, now the matter looks different. They must have already been quite familiar with the song, having been composed three years earlier. The Solo hitmaker has also been in the news recently for attending the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week 2024 on March 5.
