The BJP has appointed several top politicians, including Union ministers and chief ministers, as election in-charges for Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
Who is in charge?
Maharashtra – Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav has been appointed as the state election in-charge and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has been appointed as the state election co-in-charge.
Haryana – Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was appointed as the state election in-charge and former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb was appointed as the election co-in-charge.
Jharkhand – Union Minister and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the state election in-charge, while Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has been appointed as the state election co-in-charge.
Jammu and Kashmir – Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has been appointed as the state election in-charge.
