BITSAT 2025: Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will start the application process for BITS Entrance Test (BITSAT) 2025 today, January 21, 2025. Candidates who wish to take admission in BE, BPharma and MSc courses under the integrated Pratham – degree programs at Pilani, KK Birla Goa and Hyderabad campuses can register online through the official website – bitadmission.com.
The institute offers 10 BE programs and 6 MSc courses based on BITSAT scores across its four campuses. BITSAT Entrance Exam will be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) with duration of 3 hours. Candidates will get the opportunity to take the exam twice within a year. The examinations will be conducted at centers in India, Nepal and Dubai.
BITSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2025 for BE and BPharm admission are as follows:
Candidates who have completed 12th class in 2024 or appearing for 12th class board exam in 2025 are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
For BE admission, candidates must have passed 12th class from a recognized Central or State board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects with adequate proficiency in English.
For BPharm admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects with adequate proficiency in English.
Candidates who have studied PCM are also eligible to apply for the BPharma programme.
Minimum 75% marks are required in PCM or PCB in Class 12.
Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in each subject of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology.
BITSAT 2025 Application Fee
The application fee for BITSAT 2025 varies depending on the number of attempts and gender. For two attempts, male candidates will have to pay Rs 5,400, while female candidates will have to pay Rs 4,400. If a candidate chooses to attempt BITSAT only once (either in Session 1 or Session 2), the fee is Rs 3,400 for male candidates and Rs 2,900 for female candidates. If a candidate chooses to appear only for Session 1 and then applies separately to appear for the second time, the fee is Rs 2,000 for male candidates and Rs 1,500 for female candidates.
BITSAT 2025
The BITSAT exam will be conducted in two sessions, and candidates applying for the entrance exam can choose the exam centre, date and slot that is most convenient for them.
Students will be allowed to appear in BITSAT twice in the same year. “Such a candidate will choose one slot from the first set of dates and another slot from the second set of dates,” it said.
