Big gift to Muslims in this country on Ramzan, exemption on building madrassa and mosque

London: Rishi Sunak’s government in Britain has announced a security fund of more than 117 million pounds for the next four years for British Muslims. Making the announcement on Monday on the first fast of Ramzan, the government said that this amount will be provided for the security of Muslims in the next four years. This includes protecting mosques, Muslim faith schools and other community centers to tackle anti-Muslim hate crimes.

The government said that approximately GBP 31 million will also be made available to protect democratic processes and institutions in response to growing ‘extremist threats’ in the country. These will include technology such as CCTV and alarm systems in mosques, installation of secure perimeter fencing in Muslim faith community centers and madrassas (faith schools). Britain’s Home Secretary James Cleverley announced, ‘There is no place for anti-Muslim hatred or hatred in our society. We will not allow events in the Middle East to be used as an excuse to justify abuses against British Muslims.

Government stands with Muslims
He further said, ‘Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has made it clear that we stand with the Muslims of Britain. This is why we have committed to this funding, giving reassurance and confidence to Britain’s Muslims at a time when it is most needed. The British government said it condemns the recent rise in anti-Muslim and anti-Jewish hatred.

Hopefully we will get police support
The Home Office said: ‘Ministers have made it clear that they expect police to fully investigate all hate crimes and work with the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) to ensure that these horrific crimes are brought to justice. The cowards who commit this crime can be made to feel the power of law.

70 million pounds fund for Jews
The government has also announced the release of 70 million pounds of funds for the Jewish community in the next 4 years. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s government has released this fund under the Jewish Community Security Trust. It will be used to protect Jewish community sites. Also, schools, places of worship and other facilities used by Jews will increase in many parts of the country.

Government got correct information about religious places
The government had used this funding to know the number of each religion and their community sites in the country. England and Wales British Muslims outnumbered Jews by 14 times.
