Delhi Airport: A big game being played with the passengers at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport has come to light. After the disclosure of this matter, lines of worry have increased on the forehead of all the agencies including airlines at the airport.

Actually, this matter is related to Air India charging huge amount from the passengers in the name of access baggage and instead of depositing that amount in the airline’s account, it itself usurped it. In this case, two employees of AISATS, the ground handling agency of Air India, have been caught red handed. On the complaint of AISATS Security Manager Manoj Kumar, the Airport Police has registered an FIR against two employees named Indrajit Samaddar and Ramakrishna Upadhyay.

What is the whole game happening with the passengers?
According to the complaint given by AISATS, the duty of the first accused named Indrajit Samaddar was at the check-in counter located at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport. His main responsibility was to collect access baggage fees from Air India passengers. It is alleged that Indrajit’s target was those passengers who preferred to pay in cash instead of cards. Indrajit used to collect money from passengers in the name of access baggage, but never deposited it in the airlines’ account.

According to the complaint given by AISATS, accused Indrajeet was breaking into the system of Air India with the help of Ramkrishna Upadhyay, the second accused in this case. Actually, accused Ramkrishna Upadhyay was posted as Assistant Manager, hence he had all the access to the system. In this game, as soon as the passenger paying for the access baggage in cash would leave the airline counter, at the behest of Indrajeet, Ramakrishna would delete the details of the access baggage from the airlines system.
