Former Chhattisgarh CM and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel has shared an update on the first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. When journalists asked when the first list would be released, the former Baghel said, “…it will be announced soon…” His statement came after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its decision yesterday on the list of 195 candidates for the upcoming elections. This comes a day after releasing its first list of candidates.
The party is scheduled to hold two meetings of the Central Election Committee (CEC) and Working Committee (CWC) next week to finalize the first list of candidates.
