Sarhasa. Bharat Gaurav Yatra is ready to take you to 6 pilgrimage sites. Its first trip will be on 24 June. This trip will be of 8 nights and 9 days. 50 percent of the tickets for the trip have been booked. The remaining tickets are being booked both online and offline.

The Eastern Region of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited, a branch of Indian Railways, is going to start the Bharat Gaurav train from Kolkata for the first time under Dekho Apna Desh. It will depart from New Jalpaiguri station on June 24, visiting various pilgrimage sites like Mata Vaishno Devi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mathura, Vrindavan, Ayodhya and return on July 2.

IRCTC Chief Supervisor Tourism Sourav Chatterjee and Assistant Shyam Prasad said that IRCTC is going to run Bharat Gaurav train with the aim of promoting tourism under Kolkata Dekho Apna Desh. In this, passengers are being given a discount of about 33% on tickets. Bharat Gaurav train will start from New Jalpaiguri and will stop at Kishanganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Kiul Patna in Bihar. Bharat Gaurav train will provide darshan of these 6 pilgrimage places Mata Vaishno Devi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mathura, Vrindavan and Ayodhya.

9 days 8 nights trip
Bharat Gaurav train will start from New Jalpaiguri station on 24th June and will complete the journey on 2nd July while visiting these major pilgrimage sites. This period will take 9 days and 8 nights. Keeping in view the heat, sleeper and third AC coaches have been arranged for the passengers. Sleeper fare will be 17,900 and third AC fare will be 29,500. Arrangement of night stay in non AC rooms has been made for sleeper class passengers. Also, there will be non AC vehicles. AC hotel rooms and AC vehicles will be arranged for third AC passengers. Chief Supervisor Saurabh Chatterjee, who arrived from Kolkata, gave this information during the press conference.

Both online and offline lines are open
If 20 to 30 passengers book from Saharsa, then bus will be arranged for the nearest station Jamalpur. For the convenience of the passengers, booking can be done online on www. IRCTC TOURISM.Com. Offline ticket booking has started from April. More than 50% booking has been done so far. Interested passengers will be able to book their tickets as soon as possible and go on pilgrimage.
