Raj (1967): The first film was made in the year 1967 under the name ‘Raj’, directed by Ravindra Dave. It was a romantic thriller film. Produced by GP Sippy for Sippy Films, the film featured Rajesh Khanna, Babita, IS Johar and Asit Sen in lead roles. This film was also highly praised, it was out of the list of 10 highest grossing films at the box office.
