Chris Martin mesmerizes Mumbai fans by speaking Hindi during the first concert of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour.
Chris Martin knows how to win the hearts of Indians. On one night of the Indian leg of his band Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour, Chris performed perfect Hindi on stage. The concert is the first of three consecutive shows from Saturday to Monday at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.
‘Very welcome!’
In a video shared online, Chris is seen speaking Hindi in front of a surprised audience. He said, “Good evening everyone. You all are very welcome. We are very happy to be here in Mumbai (Welcome to you all. We are very happy to be in Mumbai).” He further added, “We are very happy to be here. This is our first real show in India. Thank you so. Namaste.” Hearing him speaking the local language, the crowd started roaring.

Fans on social media also loved the gesture. “He sounds like my chatgpt at 2am,” wrote one. “And seeing you in Mumbai is making us so happy.)”

Coldplay is all set to entertain the audience in Mumbai with their concert, which is part of their Music of the Spheres Tour. The band will perform at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai for three days: January 18, January 19 and January 21.
Before Coldplay take the stage, audiences will get the chance to enjoy a live performance from Shawn, Aleana and Jasleen Royal.
