Around 5 am on April 14, two men on a motorcycle fired four rounds outside Galaxy Apartments, where the actor lives, and fled. CCTV footage revealed that both the accused were wearing caps and carrying backpacks.
Intensifying the investigation into the firing case at the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Mumbai Crime Branch on Saturday said that three new sections have been added in the FIR against the accused.
Sections under IPC 506 (2) (threatening), 115 (incitement) and 201 (tampering with evidence) have been added in the case. Mumbai Crime Branch officials revealed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi have been declared wanted accused in the case.
Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the firing outside Salman Khan’s house in a Facebook post after the attack.
Earlier, Kutch Police had arrested both the accused and handed them over to Mumbai Crime Branch. Later, a city court sent both the accused to Mumbai Crime Branch custody till April 25 in connection with the firing incident.
The accused, identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), both from Bihar, were produced in the court after medical examination.

Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan also reacted to this incident. He shared a long post on his Instagram handle.
He wrote, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy Apartments, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and upsetting. Our family is shocked by this shocking incident.
