According to airport sources, a person named Shiv Kumar, who arrived at IGI Airport from Dubai last night, was stopped for checking at the customs green channel. During the investigation, about 500 gold was recovered from his possession, which is worth about Rs 30 lakh in the Indian market. After the recovery of gold, this person introduced himself as the assistant of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor to intimidate the customs officials.

Despite all the efforts of the accused, the customs officials did not get intimidated and confiscated the recovered gold and arrested the person. Now, a Congress MP has come forward and made a big disclosure in this case. He has not only revealed the true identity of this person, but has also said that he will fully cooperate in the investigation. He has said that the law should do its work.

He was shocked to hear that one of his former staff members was involved in such work. He told that this person was providing him part-time services to assist him at the airport.
