A prominent teacher of a school in Kamup district of Assam was allegedly emphasized by family members of students for not distributing the final examination question papers of class -10 on Saturday.
In Kamup district, the head teacher of Gasbari High School, who was also the supervisor of the examination center in the school, allegedly delayed the distribution of question papers in an hour.
Family members of a student said, “The exam was about to start at 9 am and the head teacher came to the center at 10 am with questions. It angered the parents and some of them out of anger. Done. “

After the incident, a police team arrived and controlled the situation. The exam started around 10:10 am and students were given additional 30 minutes to finish the paper.
Police said that they have recorded the statement of the chief teacher and the case is under investigation, however, no case has been registered, an official said.
After the incident, Director of Secondary Education, Mamta Hojai suspended Ashok Chaudhary and a departmental inquiry was ordered.
The headmaster of Gopalthan Regional High School, Mukhtaram Patoveri has been appointed as the new examination center supervisor of Gasbury High School for the remaining examinations.

Reacting to this, Education Minister, Ronoj Pegu said that Ashok Chaudhary came late by 20 minutes and for this negligence, he was suspended.
The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination conducted by Assam State School Education Board (Asseb) began on Saturday and a total of 429,449 students, including 190,653 boys and 238,796 girls.
The Education Minister said that 98.42% of the students appeared on the first day and the examination was conducted smoothly, however, 14 students were expelled for different reasons.
