Kartik Aaryan has said about his work-life balance – “I’m getting a little frustrated with it – just working constantly.” The actor, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, talked about experiencing fatigue in his working life in an interview with The Indian Express.
“I don’t feel like I’m able to give myself that personal time, because I’m always thinking about work, about the path ahead, about what I haven’t done, what went wrong, what’s right . I have been in that place for the longest time. I think I need time for myself too,” he said.

Work burnout is an endemic problem in recent times. People prepare themselves physically and mentally to do more work in less time. After the Covid pandemic, work from home culture has become a norm, which has affected the work-life balance of people.
But to understand if you are burnt out, it is important to look for warning signs in the body. Psychologist, special educator and psychiatrist Dr. Alisha Lalji, in an earlier interview with HT Lifestyle, had talked about the five warning signs that the body gives when it burns.
chronic fatigue
Frequent headaches, feeling overwhelmed with daily activities, persistent fatigue and exhaustion are symptoms of chronic fatigue. The underlying cause may be burnout.
sleep disturbance
We may face difficulties in sleeping or staying asleep. We may feel tired even after waking up from sleep.
change in appetite
Appetite is often affected when we are tired. Some people start overeating as a coping mechanism.
getting sick frequently
Prolonged stress and fatigue can weaken the immune system, making us vulnerable to infections and other diseases.
emotional exhaustion
One of the important symptoms of burnout can be extreme emotional exhaustion, which can lead to isolation and withdrawal from others.
